The Haven House Residence is a Christian based, non-profit organization, established to support men in recovery from alcohol and chemical dependency. Our organizational philosophy is based primarily on one simple principle:Christian
recovering alcoholics and recovering addicts helping other alcoholics and addicts maintain sobriety through growth and support in clear Christian
principals. A self-run, self-supporting, group shared living residence, the Haven House operates as a functional extended family. Experienced staff members are guides
to recovery and maintain day to day operations.
The Haven House is a Christ centered program involving the participation of ministers and laymen in the community to lead group discussions and studies in the Word of God on a weekly basis. Through the help of Christians, scriptural teaching, strict adherence to a Twelve Step program and peer
involvement Haven House provides the alcoholic/addict an effective means of relapse avoidance and recovery. Responsibility, participation in Twelve Step support groups, and faith in God are paramount to recovery and the restoration of self-esteem.
